Well there has been a good amount going on since out last update. Let me start by thanking all the beta-testers who have provided invaluable feedback, your time and efforts are more valuable than you realize.
With all the data provided, we are nearing the next round of adjustments to the core rules for Spectrum, such as;
- Tweaking the math for The Chart
- Adding a dedicated chapter for assets
- Providing mechanics for fast moving vehicles and characters
- Moving all optional rules to the resource documents in order to provide more flexibility to the narrators and players
- Combining some of the skills to add a wider breadth of capability to characters
- Adding more function to kismet (I am particularly excited about this addition!)
Once this round of beta improvements are finished, we will be dedicating our efforts to flushing out the resource documents. Extra and special attention will be going to building out a proper list of “monsters”. These entries will include not only stats and expected resources, but also expected behaviors, taxonomy, tidbits of lore, and suggested tactics for conflict-focused encounters.
